Farm animals were an essential part of life for Squire Boone’s family. They provided meat, milk, wool, lard, and manure for fertilizer. Animal fats were used to make lye soap and candles. Squrie’s Barnyard is an homage to the pioneer’s life, but with one major difference: the animals have been given a home with lots of love and care.
